I use a primer by benefit, really good! For powder foundation I use one by bare minerals the original one, and macs studio tech. I love them both equally.

Yeah it gives good coverage IF you don't have big pimples and bumps, I use it when my skin is looking good and I just want to even out my skin.. It's called benefit porefessional.

I think the ready foundation which is more compacted is better then the original since it's gets messy.

No but I really want to use the liquid version. For the bare minerals you can use it but you might need a liquid concealer for the bumps, it's a suggestion. You can get person to try it on you at macys.

Yeah someone from sephora can put whatever you want to try on! Plus they have this cool scanner to get your foundation matched. So try it as well!!

I am not sure about the skin tone, but you could ask but the scanner will give you an I'd number like 1y11 or something.. And then it comes up with foundation shades.. But when I did it, their wasn't many choices but it's been awhile so I'm sure they have more choices.

I use one of MACs foundations, I've never tried tartes powder foundation, (because I have combo skin) but I've heard great things about it :) I have tried tartes liquid foundation, and it's great, but they didn't have my shade :/

I love the laura mercier mineral powder foundation, it's so natural looking even when you build it to medium/full coverage. Laura mercier products work well tgt I realize, you can try out their large range of primers depending on your skin type :)
