When you use heat protectant do you spray it and straighten your hair right after (what I usually do). Or do you spray it and let it soak into your hair for a few minutes? (I heard this was good to do, but I've never seen anyone do it before). How do you use heat protectant?

I spray my hair and then I brush my hair so the product is distributed more evenly and then I just straighten it.😊 I guess it's good if you let it soak though..I've heard that too!

It's not necessary to let it soak in. Just making sure you have a heat protectant in before heat goes near your hair is great! It's not good to flat iron hair unless completely dry.

I let mines soak in first and dry because if you don't there's no point in using a protector I feel like.. Youll just be frying your hair.. Never straighten hair when its wet even if its just a little wet.. Even if its a wet to dry hair straightener... I've done that before and like I said there was no point in using the hair protectant.. I got split ends from doing that.

I use a heat protector styling serum by pro naturals argan oil and I add some on damp hair, then I let it air dry if I'm straightening or blow dry straight away. I also use some afterwards to keep my hair soft and shiny.
