I don't know why people act like public schools automatically don't wear uniforms... Think again! Here in Miami we sure as shit had to wear a uniform. Some school stricter than other schools. My friends school is pretty much same shoe same belt short tucked in all the time. Mine was more lenient thank god lol.

Not true, Velen. In the Sacramento area they don't wear uniforms, neither does San Francisco. I went through public education here in California and we barely had a dress code at all (unfortunately). My fiance's little cousins are all in grade school in different parts of California, and never have worn uniforms. Maybe it is just where you live. I know there was talk about uniforms maybe alleviating gang problems on campuses, so maybe that's why you have uniforms?
