In New Zealand we don't have Black Friday or Cyber Monday so I have never herd of them, please explain.

It's where stores get crazy good sales and soo many people buy stuff for Christmas and most stores get wiped out if stock lol and cyber Monday is when most on line stores do really good sales for the holidays.

Black Friday is the day after thanksgiving. it's where many, almost all stores have major sales! most people do their Christmas shopping then. cyber Monday is the Monday after, where online sites have major sales.

Black Friday is American shopping day basically. I don't think it's anything significant like historical or anything. Just loads of sales and Christmas presents bought :) As for Cyber Monday, I presume is the same except with reductions for shopping online :)

It's called Black Friday because when businesses are doing well and making a profit, it's known as "being in the black". Just as being "in the red" means debt...a negative balance.
