I'm trying to dye my hair a bright color, but it always fades really fast. Even with permanent dye. How do I make it easier to keep al the fun colors in my hair?

The best way is to bleach your hair before you put in the dye but it's very damaging to your hair.

Okay. I have darker hair like you. I have tried dyes and such and the same has happened to me. I did the Koolaid thing an was totally shocked buy my results. IT HAS BEEN BRIGHTS RED FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW! It's faded some but main tains it's color pretty well. I did 3 red packets and 2 yellow. I put it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Mixed it. Pigtailed my hair and dipped it in for 20 minutes. I wrapped it in tin foil and kept it in for 1 hr. Then blew dried it. And WHALA! Hope it helps😬
