I'd say go over it with a flat iron, and twist it. Like flat iron curls, but only at the very end. I've never used a curling iron though I'm sorry!

I would recommend going over with a flat iron and then wash it regularly. I usually apply Moroccan oils after that.

You can make your flat iron into wand by just unscrewing the clip it's really easy

I agree with the ladies who suggested a wand :) you won't have to worry about kinks and your curls will last 2-3 days depending on your hair type :)

Instead of using it the traditional way, wrap the hair around it like you would a wand. careful not to burn your fingers, mabye invest in a heat resistant glove
