How can I prevent split ends when straightening my hair? Is there any shampoo that can help prevent split ends please help??

The true way to avoid split ends...using a heat protectant when blowdrying/straightening hair. Doing monthly deep conditioning treatments. Not using a brush on wet hair (use a wide-tooth comb). Stay away from any haircare products containing alcohol or sulfates (these are very drying to hair regardless of texture). Hair straightening zaps the moisture out of the hair so heat protection is vital along with infusion of moisture. I believe that Nexxus carries a line of shampoo and conditioner just for gals who use heat tools. You can pick it up at ULTA.

Also, you will need to get annual trims so that the little split ends don't turn major and travel up the hair shaft causing you more drama (aka...frizzy, rough looking hair).

If you have them you'll have to cut them. No way to fix them!!
Try not to use heat

Put your flat iron in low.

Heat and split ends go hand in hand. The above tips help but the best way is to stop using a flat iron. I know how you feel I'm a flat iron junky. Try blow drying your hair straight. It won't give you the exact look but itll help to not give your hair direct heat.

I use that one to!! I love it <3?? But does it work best to keep your split ends off? Should I just apply it only on my ends? Will it help??

You'll want to apply the protectant thru out your hair Latina C. Your hair needs protection from root to end when using heat.

Okay I'll do that.
