There are creams and primers that will help with redness, I know Clinique makes a good one. Have redness of the skin could be cause by multiple things. Some serious and some not so serious. I have redness as well but its usually just when my skin is irritated or have been through a long day so mine is enviornmental. And at the end of the day I just press a hot towel over my face to calm the skin. If products don't work you may have Rosecia (or however you spell that) ha. And you should maybe see a doctor for that.

Dermalogica works well for my redness and so does the lush blueberry mask. Good luck!

Oh my gosh! I totally forgot! If you dilute a couple drops of lavender and chamomile oil and mix it with natural honey, and leave it on your face for 10 minutes, your redness will practically disappear. Try it! Works for me!

I have sensitive, combination skin which is also acne prone, I suffer from redness often. Using an ice pack thrice a day after washing my face with a mild cleanser has been working so well for me since a month. Also, I got allergy tests done and my doctor told me to skip OTC face washes and creams like Neutrogena. I avoid wearing make up since that causes irritation too, sometimes if I feel the redness is making my skin heat up and too much to tolerate, I break open Advil gel capsules and apply it on the affected area, it helps a lot. Also, I drink atleast 1.5 litres of water everyday.

Use physicians formula green concealer stick to cover your problem red areas. The green tone cancels out the red. It's amazing and cheap!

You should check with a derm to see if you have rosacea or cuperose skin but untill then you can try a cream called prosecea use, it alone not with any other acne creams and you only need a small amount wait about 15 min then apply moisturizer this gel helps calm down red irritated skin if you have rosacea and I know not everyone can't go to a dermatologist.
