How much would you consider one coat of mascara? I see beauty gurus saying it's one coat but they're using the wand multiple times. help! I'm confused.

"Coat" means you let it dry. One coat=one full application. Two coats=letting the first application dry and then going over it again.

That depends on the mascara you use. I have mascaras that are dry in 20 seconds, and some that take freaking forever. Basically, if you put your finger against your lashes none will come off when it's dry.
