I used to wear wigs just because I liked them. I liked them a lot, especially the laced/front laced wigs. A lot of them come with small combs attached to them for security. As far as coming out to others about it, that's really your personal choice. :) good luck!

I don't think you need to tell people you're wearing a wig...
I think this will be a great step forward for you in your confidence, just remember if people are looking at it a) that might just be your imagination or b) they think you got killer hair! :)

Honestly, I can't tell the difference when your wearing one, it just looks like you've been to the hairdresser!

I love wigs!! I will admit when I started I was very insecure about them. that's why the top pictures have hats on. those are when I first started. I threw a hat on to mask the fact. the ones without are after a 2 years and being comfortable in them.
As far as securing them some come as just a band or with clips or even an adjustable band. most of the ones I have have both adjustable bands and clips/combs I typically just were the band and maybe a bobby pin on the side.
you don't have to tell anyone what's going on up there it's your hair. if some ask if its a wig ill tell them. if not to hell with them let them figure it out.
just have fun try all lengths and colors if you want to!!

Jenna, that looks great! Super natural. Plus you look so happy 😊 I don't wear wigs, but my aunt does and if it's a good wig you honestly can't tell the difference between wig and natural hair.
She just told us one day. If you're uncomfortable telling it to people, I don't think you have to. Maybe to the ones who are closest to you. You look gorgeous!
