I have naturally curly hair that's medium (long when straight) length & in subtle layers. However, I feel like I have to wear it the same way everyday. It's either plain & down or up in a bun. When I try other styles, it feels awkward & silly. Any suggestions on some variation!? Help!

Have you tried straightening your hair? Or tried a perm?? There's many ways to style your hair!

Half up using Bobby pins, clips or a hair tie gives different effects. Also taking just the front section and pinning it back either over or under the rest of your hair. Changing the location of your part or hiding it completely. Adding colour variation in your hair helps too to change it up. I personally ADORE your hair, embrace it coz people would kill to have hair like yours! Hope this helps! :)

I know how you feel! I have the same problem! I have very curly hair too and I always feel like I have to style it either down or up in a clip...I usually leave it down. I use mousse and let my hair air dry till it's about 75% dry then dry it with a diffuser...then use hair spray...I try to get it as big as I can, I like big hair! lol...usually ends up looking like this...hope I helped at least a bit.

Wear it half up (I'm sure it tends to get in your face when you wear it down, I know mine does) but do it loosely. By that I mean don't slick it back. Leave the curls intact. If it frizzed near your face, use some serum there. I also like to put my hair in a low ponytail or bun ( at the nape of my neck) but again pull it bank loosely so that you'll still have volume and show off your beautiful curls. I get tons of compliments when I wear it this way. I'll look for some pictures to post.

Adrianna that's why I can't straighten my hair...it just feels so thin compared to my curls lol
