I have naturally curly, african american hair but I straighten it when I wear it usually. Can someone help with different hair styles to make it look fuller? Also when I wear it down it doesn't fall too nicely -.- a natural volumizing recipe would help. Thanks,

I wash my hair once every 2 weeks, I don't trim my ends (don't know how) and yes I drink a lot of water but I don't take vitamens. I use a basic heat protectant spray too when I straighten it .

I have the same type of hair. When I straighten it, it thins and goes flat. I discovered I was using too much product for my fine hair. Also blow dry your hair upside down, it helps with volume.

Try getting your hair layered, and get it trimmed regularly. Dead ends weigh your hair down, inhibiting volume. If your hair is extremely thin, I'd try using the texturizing powder by Gosh for thin hair. It makes your hair feel much fuller and thicker, automatically inducing volume. Hope this helps!
