I was a cutter too for a long long time. First, I'm so sorry you're going through that.
Second, Grace is right makeup will draw attention! Plus, its not good for your cuts. Even with liquid bandage. Try bracelets, like lots of bangles or a cuff. Or you might have to wear a different dress (unfortunately😓) or if it would look okay with the dress maybe a jacket or layer with a sweater or long sleeved shirt. Hope this helped 😊

You can put a thin layer of aquaphor over it so the concealer will have a smooth area to rest on, but just make sure you take it off when you get home.

I used to cut... Try one of those ribbon headbands and wrap it around your wrist. This always worked for me.

But always remember that life is supposed to be happy and enjoyable not sad and painful. I was a cutter for 2-3 years and I covered them up. (Very well) no one ever knew I was hurting. Not even my family and friends. I wore jackets in 80-90 degree weather and no one asked questions. Although cutting was like an outlet for me and it made me feel better for maybe 5 minutes; I always felt bad in the long run. I went to cutting because of all the hurt and abuse in my past. I couldn't wear all the cute short shorts because I had cuts on my legs or short sleeved shirts. I was stuck looking like I was prepared for a blizzard. But then I realized that I didn't want to be weak anymore, so I told my mom and she put me in therapy right away. I no longer cut and I feel wonderful about myself. Don't be afraid to let people know you are hurting or else it won't get better. Once you seek help, it will come. :) I hope you can maybe make "getting help" a new year's resolution and I promise you everything will get better!

I always wore bracelets, long sleeved shirts, &/or some concealer on it. you should probably find a cute blazer & then add some cute bracelets :)

If you feel self conscious about it, then your best bet is to find a sweater that covers at least 3/4 of your arms and bracelets on the rest. I found fish net stockings cut like leg warmers for your arms distract enough attention away from what is hiding underneath. a pair of socks with the foot cut off could work as arm bands or long gloves could look glamorous..

There is a concealer called mehron. it's thick in consistency and stays put very well. try it out. buy it online or camera ready cosmetics. it has greater setting power as well.
