What do you mean by protective? Like no heat and chemicals?

Protective styles are hairstyles that tuck the ends of your hair away from being exposed to damaging agents such as sun, heat, and constant manipulation. The purpose and benefits of this hairstyle is to grow healthier, longer hair and reduce split end breakage & damage!

I usually do a Dutch braid down the back of my head then tie the end with an elastic and tuck up the bottom and Bobby pin it under: ) very pretty hair!

What? N. S? This is actually my hair, and in fact not a wig. I wouldn't wear a wig because I like my hair. Thank you Santana, Veronica and Kalie! I need to learn how to ditch braid!

I've had natural hair all my life, but I've only recently started to take care of it. That's why it's been growing pretty fast! So please don't assume that I have a wig on because it's a little frizzy in the picture. I'm not sure if you are suggesting a wig for a protective style or...? But I probably wouldn't buy one , thank you for the suggestion anyways! ❤️

Buns can be a protective style, braids and twists can be also.
