That happens a lot hun you can try cutting your days of use back I don't no how many days a week your using it but don't use it every day and you can put argan oil on then a thick moisturizer at night your skin has to become acclimated to retinol and you work your way up to more days even if you can only tolerate 2 days a week that's fine,

Ohhh yes you can the trick is to do it about 30 min after you wanna let the retinol absorb all the way in then grease up ,oils, creams I have been using retinol for 10 years and I still use a moisturizer but now I can use it daily and even around my eyes with no peeling but it takes a long time to work up to it retinol benefits are from prolonged use so as long as your skin is receiving it weather it's daily or two days a week its good.

Thank god for this post. I have oily skin but been peeling. I won't give up. I started using argan oil at night and have to use a foundation for dry skin. I just have to blot more often.

Try using the argan oil before your makeup just a tiny bit once it absorbs the apply your makeup surprisingly the oil doesn't make you more oily ,and if you grease up a lot at night you won't need as much in the morning.

My husband asks me why my skin looks greasy at night? To have gorgeous skin that's why.

Well first it depends on what strength retinol your using and then on the rate of you skins exfoliating the dry skin comes from the speeded up cell turn over so some people experience very flaky skin for a while and and some.people don't have any

THANK YOU Annmarie I do layer products I use atleast 3 products at night then a moisturizer as long as you use products that don't fight with each other like copper peptides and vitamin c some products cancel or diminish products potency and you put on thinnest to thickest water base products first and retinol need to be In closet contact with your skin and absorb before other things are added if you add somthing and you feel like it's not sinking in then you have put on to much.

Traci knows her business. I use retinol every 3rd day..moisturize beneath my primer and on off days..slather my face, neck and collar bone in sweet almond oil. A BB cream and a Beauty Blender are must haves for me. Always keep your SPF high and drink plenty of water... avoid hot water on your face as well.
