I have one of those really annoying spots- under the skin, no head, really red and swollen! It's on my chin so it's very noticeable, and very swollen. Can anyone help me to get the redness and swelling down BY TOMORROW? I've tried zinc cream overnight and it didn't work!! I need a solution!

It is called a cystic pimple. I get those sometimes :-\ Try getting a rag wet with really hot water and put it on the pimple until it cools. This should take the pain away. You can rotate between icing it and putting the hot rag on and it should help! These things are incredibly stubborn and may not go away no matter what you do. Sometimes they just have to run their course!

Thank you! I don't get them often, but when I do, they're always in the MOST OBVIOUS places. I'll try icing and heating it.

I use tea tree oil I them, I ran out and got one yesterday though so I put some queen Helene's mint mask on it for a while then hydrogen peroxide overnight and it's considerably smaller. I hate those under the skin bumps...I'm always having problems with them and hyperpigmentation from.

I'll try combining the heating&cooling idea and the tea tree oil. I hate them so much, I have a very pale skin tone and they turn my skin bright red, and no amount of concealer or foundation helps!

Do you have a Clarisonic? This deep cleans your pores and I use it at night and it would always help get rid of my acne the next day!

I don't usually suffer with skin problems, I naturally have very clear skin, so I don't own any medicated products for my skin. It's just this one spot that's annoying me!

I know this isn't an overnight skin tip if you don't have the product, but this can help you for future bad skin days. Buy at your local drugstore hydrocortisone cream. Steam your face in order to open your pores and apply. This has a similar effect as the cortisone shots the dermatologists use. These shots as well as the cream reduce inflammation (:

Hydrochortizone is great like Kimberly said but don't use it to often because it can make you break out.
