Ok I qualified for vib last week and am around $450 away from vibr. Online it says I have my vib status till December 2014, does that mean that I have that long to qualify for vibr or does it have to be by the end of this year? Also what are the actual perks for being vibr?

Apparently VIB rouge isn't worth it, from what I've heard. I'm about $70 away from achieving that status but not because that's my goal, just simply because I enjoy ordering from sephora. I do know that Rouge gets free shipping on all orders and perks throughout the year, but as of a few weeks ago, I read that no one had actually received any perks for being VIBR so I really don't think it's worth it. I'll continue to buy from sephora and I'll be Rouge shortly, but I'm not holding my breath for any spectacular deals.

I think VIBR is worth it if you're in New York or cities where sephora actually has perks. I've heard things like they get to go to insider parties and exclusive openings with makeup artists and photographers, get free classes and I think they get first dibs on new products, and first look at limited edition products, months before they release them, or at least that's what I've read online.
I'm not even VIB, but living in Canada sephora doesn't do any events or classes so really it's only worth it for free shipping. I don't spend just to go up levels though, I spend because I like makeup lol

My husband has that silly VIBR status and he finds it be a joke. He has come home with far more superior perks from beauty counters in major department stores. Especially the high-end counters. Full-size freebies and multiple deluxe size samples given to him without asking. Not everyone can get to dept stores that offer such great perks and that's where I think Sephora needs to rethink how they market these programs. Offer some REAL perks that make us really excited to buy. My 13 year old daughter finds the whole VIB/VIBR program elitist.

Thanks for all the responses, it doesn't seem like they really do much extra for those who are vibr. I'm not spending with the intention of becoming vibr but I guess if it happens it happens.

Yea it really doesn't do much. The only thing I enjoy is free shipping. There haven't really been many different perks compared to the regular VIB. Although I do enjoy the mini sets you're able to get with your points and the birthday gifts. Otherwise it's not really a big deal lol.

I agree. But I did get a Christmas discount thing recently. So I'm definitely using it.
