I think you should find something that means a lot to you personally , not anything trendy because it will he out so enough. It's going to be there forever! So maybe a lives ones birth date in Roman numerals which for me looks more classy, maybe at the nape of your neck? Or wrist? Just don't get something you may regret.

Be sure your tattoo ha meaning. Think about it because it's something that will be on your body for the rest of your life. I have 4 all together and they all mean something to me. My favorite is my husbands name on my ring finger.

Whether it means something to you or not, just make sure you like it. I personally want tattoos with meaning, but I understand where people look at it as "art". It's all about your personality and what you think and want :)
