Right!! I was so upset when I heard Wilson's leather didn't sell regular leather pants anymore bc they aren't "what's in".. I was thinking wtf, when does anything leather go out of style lol.. So I'm going to get some special made.

Is all about marketing. Leather is classic, look at some other place, maybe online, or nordstrom. I saw some at nordstrom's web page.

I just have to take my measurements and call a place up in new Hampshire.. My mom is paying for it and they have a tailor that makes them =) I'm excited.. Last time I had a pair mice ate them.

I don't follow anything I just wear whatever I like. If I can't afford something I won't buy it simple. If I think the quality is good then I buy it. for me quality of the material matters the most. I usually am picky at these things. I steer clear from stores that have bad quality material at high cost. wear what you feel comfortable in.

I couldn't agree with you more Michele!! I'm 39 going on 40 and I could give a rats behind about what others think about what's in/out. If it makes me feel good, I'm wearing it. And leather is so in. All my favorite department stores have a leather story going on in their quarterly catalogs (Nordstrom, Saks,Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman). Leather pants are classics...you could never go wrong with leather.

I love the diversity where I am living right now. There are people who follow trends; but for the most part, people do whatever they want! people make their own trends here. I finally "fit in" for not fitting in somewhere as I make my own style. I'm not a follower, I tend to be a leader. funny we were looking at society and what trends do and mean in Anthropology class last week. also funny that I model and even though I get made up to look a certain way, my agency laughs because I do my own thing, can't wait to change and wipe off what they put on! interesting.. Michelle, you remind me of a friend I had in high school.. be who you are, not what a magazine says you should be! and leather pants ROCK!! I have a few pair, one with ties down the sides.

Nicely put Shoshoni! I've always been different. Wore a lot of black in school and got called a witch (didn't mind it since I think the craft is so interesting and I'm wiccan) and I've been called flat as a board for not wearing a bra... But why wear a bra if you have no boobs. I like comfort lol... Lucky! Tie downs are sexy!! I just want a regular looking "jean" pair.

I also get weird looks sometimes because I don't do the convential natural color hair anymore. Some people like it.. I've finally learned after being teased for my school years, not to care what's in style or what people think. Dare to be different, dare to be you is my motto now. If you like it and it's comfortable, rock it! Don't let other people tell you it's not trendy. Do your own thing girlfriends! Lol I'm a dork =)

Fashion trends definitely come n go - but something that might be out now could always make a come back later on in life - so I agree wear what you like n have your own sense of style - also I hate when certain styles are no longer available to purchase because they aren't "in" anymore so the best advice I heard was buy it in bulk when it is in style that way if it goes out you still have the clothes you can wear until it comes back "in"
