I would recommend getting one but there are plenty of face washing devices at a cheaper price that do the same job like the Netrogena wave and I use on from Avon that does wonders for my skin. But if you Are going to buy the clairsonic you can use your own face wash! I break out all the time too it's mainly because of oils and dirt clogging up your pores so throughout the day use blotting sheets to blot away the oils :) hope this helped!

I love my Clarisonic Mia, but there are so many brushes out there that you can easily find one that won't break the bank, just remember to replace the brush heads regularly.

Short answer: yes. I posted on this and got a lot of responses. http://www.beautylish.com/t/ruawsz/clarisonic-really-acne-free
The ladies here convinced me and I bought mine (clairsonic mia in lavender) from Lovelyskin.com for $87 (huge deal 30% off) yesterday

I love my Mia2. I use it with Philosophy's clear days ahead cleanser and my skin is flawless.

If you're going to get one, get the real one and not a copy of it like the neutrogena. They work differently, the cheaper copies just spin whereas the clarisonic works completely differently. I love mine and find that it works great for everyone's skin, mine glows now but I used to have acne until I used it. My mum has very dry skin and it's made her skin much better too. I have the Mia 2.

So yes, I feel the outcome is worth buying the device!

Does it help with blackheads?

I vote yes. It got rid of all the little pimples I had on my forehead (thank god) and my cheeks and it has helped with blackheads on my chin and nose as well. It's amazing! If you decide to get it, get the most sensitive brush head.

I love my Mia 2. Made my face softer and felt cleaner, when I woke up my acne wasn't as red and I could tell they were starting to go away and this this just after the first use. I did some research on them and people have complained about there being a bad purging period (break outs from all of the dirt it draws out of your skin) but it doesn't last long. I haven't gotten that yet (thank god!) but everyone's skin reacts differently to stuff.

I love my Mia 2 as well, although I almost gave up on it in the beginning. I'm incredibly acne prone and my breakouts were initially getting worse after each use (I was pressing too hard and my skin had to adjust to that level of cleanliness). Over time it got better and I started to see the GOOD results of all of that exfoliation. Definitely worth it for me.
