Keep cleaning it and don't sleep on it. That happens to my ear piercings of I sleep on them. Again just keep cleaning it, don't sleep on it and for now, use ice in a ziplock bag and hold it to your ear where it's irritated. Hope this helped :)

The jewelry might be too tight, try loosening it.
Don't turn the piercing and touch it as little as possible, keep your hair away from it and clean it using cotton buds twice a day.
