My lips are the same way. I've tried everything except consulting a dermatologist. My lips are rarely in any condition to wear lipstick. It's my curse.

I know this sounds weird but I use Lansinoh lanolin for breast feeding mothers on my lips every night at bed time and my lips are never dry or chapped. I use a generous amount before bed. It's $10 or so at target and a tube will last about a year. I started using it after I had my daughter and in the middle of the night one night my lips were so dry and burning. All I had within reach was the lanolin so I put some on and never looked back. Now she is 9. I really only have to buy 1 tube a year. The Medela brand is not as thick but it also doesn't moisturize very well.

Sugar and olive oil lip scrub ( there's super easy DIYs for it on here, just do a search for it) to get rid of dead flakes followed by a thick coating of Aquaphore. It's the best stuff ever for chapped anything, put it on right before bed and wake up to soft , smooth lips

Exfoliate using a damp soft toothbrush, or use a damp wash cloth. Avoid licking your lips, this makes it worse. I put on Vaseline at night before bed. During the day I use rose salve that is by c.o. Bigelow and is available at bath n body works. blistex medicted lip balm also works well and also has a nice scent. Avoid softlips products because they have a lot of alcohol which is drying. Good luck girl.

Mix brown sugar, honey, and a bit of olive oil together for a good homemade lip scrub! Then use a really good lip butter or balm

Make sure your getting enough water, when I don't my lips get super chapped! You could also use a dry toothbrush to scrub off the dead skin.

Also! Stay hydrated. Our lips get chapped when we don't drink enough water.

Don't forget to drink water, that will naturally bring a bit more moisture and help your lips not dry out so badly :) and of course these lovely ladies have tons of great suggestions ill have to snag for me too!

A lip scrub might solve your problem. Lush Cosmetics has a really good lip scrub that works wonders! It's only 9.95 and it is EDIBLE! :-) You can also try tomake your own with sugar, honey, and Vaseline.
