-What tips would you give to a curvy girl who loves to dress up?
-What should she stay away from?
-What rules should be broken?
-What works best?
And anything else lol
I'd love to see pictures as well!

So I'd say...DO accentuate your waist/the skinniest part of your body, so that your curves have some shape. DON't wear things that are loose because they'll just give the impression that you don't really have a shape at all. DO show off whatever body parts you like. For example, if you love your legs, wear leggings or skirts that draw the attention there. Also I love pencil skirts on curvy girls :) I think the most important thing is to remember that clothing is there to enhance, not to detract or diminish :) so for that reason, I encourage you to wear things that you like that you wouldn't normally wear for one reason or another.

First and foremost wear what you're comfortable in.
don't wear anything that's not your right size because then you will look like you're trying to squeeze into something you know you can't fit.
I definitely understand "curves" I have more than I would like lol
accentuate your best assets. wearing belts give the appearance of a waste if that's a problem area. straight legged pants are good if you're bigger in the hips.
I'd like to follow this post myself to see other tips that these beauties will offer.

Oh! One more thing. Google Nicolette Mason, she's the writer of "Big Girl in a Skinny World" from Marie Claire magazine. She's great. She really gives a lot of tips and ideas that she's picked up from working in fashion.

PEPLUMS! They are My holy Grail. I have a small waist and a rounded hour glass figure/pear shape. And everything Hannah said is SPOT on!

I love all the tips given. I really appreciate all of you taking the time out to write. I've had a hard accepting my body. I recently had a baby. and went from a size 5 to a size 16. It was hard to realize that my body changed, but I'm dealing with it and trying to lose. I definitely have to try peplum tops! I will also look up Nicolettes blog. It sounds like it's great from the name alone lol.

I just had a baby a year ago so I definitely know where your coming from I had a lot of changes to my body I'm still trying to except my closet is full of size 9-11 jeans and I can't even wear them because now I'm a size 13-15 and it's heart breaking but you can't change over night so love your body you have now and trust me you will feel a lot better and would want to wear anything to make you feel sexy trust me :)
