Start by figuring out your skin type and concerns :) are you dry? Oily? Combo? Normal? Are you worried about acne, blackheads, dark spots etc?

I have an oily t zone, and mainly black heads. and dark spots run in my family so I'm trying to avoid them as much as I can lol(;

Okay so sounds like you're combo. For the blackheads, try a salicylic acid cleanser, it works by dissolving the bacteria that's built up in your pores. For cleansers I like the Neutrogena cleansers, especially the cream deep cleansing one. After you wash your face, use a moisturizer (and I wash my face night and day). At night try a dark spot corrector like Clinique (I'm sure there are cheaper options available), and then a moisturizer, anything thicker will do (my current favorite is the Korres Rose Brightening Cream, but it's kind of expensive). In the morning, use a light moisturizer with SPF (which will help prevent future dark spots). I like the Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer :)

Aww I'm so glad to hear that! I hope it all works out for you, skincare is always difficult at first. If you put too many new things on your face at once, also, it can make your skin freak out. That's not to deter you, just to make sure you know to be careful with your skin, it's the only face you have haha :)

Ammara, you're too sweet! Also one last thing, the Neutrogena cream cleanser has no salicylic acid but the Rapid Clear line does :)
