I would get an inch and a half. It won't take you as long to curl your hair, and it will still be tight or loose pretty girls. It has a lot to do with how you curl your hair though.

Well as a rule, the smaller the barrel the tighter the curls. So I'd suggest the 1 1/2 inch, because it can do looser waves or if you hold the hair on a teeny bit longer and they'll look more springy.

And Tajvir it works with straight hair if you hairspray it a lot otherwise it could fall because most straight hair just doesn't hold curls well.
