I moisturize, prime with Smashbox Photofinish primer, then dab it on my fact and make it look like I have chicken pox and then buff everything out. But I have the Tarte Airbrush foundation brush, I have no idea what the UD one is like.

I like to moisturize and prime, then squirt a little over one pump on the back of my hand and let it warm up a bit, then get a little on my brush, start dabbing on one cheek and then blend. Repeat for whole face. You shouldn't need much more than one pump.

Mine varies from either the Josie Maran arganc oil or juice beauty stem cell repair moisturizer. I prefer buffing, and setting spray if you need it, I don't use it all the time.

@Victoria; I usually just apply it with my fingers. I never got a brush with it, but I honestly haven't heard many good things about it anyways :p
I pump a small amount onto my fingers, lightly rub my fingers together, then dab it all over my face. I rub it in & then apply a little more if I need note coverage. I've always used my hands to put on my foundation. just make sure to wash your hands before doing this (:

You can also use the mac blending pink sponge for a more flawless finish. There is a brush that is dome shaped by sonia at target that I use once am done blending to even out the texture. It is important to moisturize and apply a serum. Serum is great if you want to even out skin for a more clean canvas. The best setting spray is model in a bottle for sensitive skin. It seals the makeup completely and popular with brides.

Maybe you should invest in a hydrating foundation and moisturize well with something that's hydrating.

I usually don't put anything on my face before applying naked foundation. I mean, its name really makes sense. It feels like you have absolutely nothing on your face, it's extremely comfortable to wear. So if I apply moisturizer and then sunblock before it, it gets extremely unconfortable to wear. To apply it I usually use a duo fiber or a flat top kabuki brush (:

Naked as in Naked Skin from Urban Decay?
I moisturize, sometimes prime - I need to go out and get my Hourglass primer with my Xmas money lol - and then I apply it with a brush, usually either the Real Techniques buffing brush or expert face brush. I pat it on areas that need more coverage and buff it on areas that need lighter. I also use Real Techniques blending sponge sometimes. It's similar to the beauty blender sponge. I use it damp and it keeps it thin and not cakey, although I don't have much of a problem in general because the foundation is light to begin with.
