Why does my face sting?

I've been using my foundation for about a week now, and it's great but recently I got an acne treatment that I just started using like 2 days ago, just today I applied my foundation and my face started stinging and I don't know why.

Is there benzoyl peroxide in your acne treatment, because that can cause stinging. I don't think it's your foundation. You probably shouldn't use both at the same time, or apply less acne treatment.

Yeah there's 2.5 benzoyl peroxide, but thank you so much!

Also if your skin hasn't fully recovered from the treatment it can be a bit irritated still and the chemicals example benzoyl peroxide which drys up your skin may be a bit harsh on the skin I would suggest to give your skin time before using this surtin foundation again
