So I started taking biotin pills a week ago and I haven't really seen any kinds of changes so I was wondering if you know, how long does it usually take to work? And is it too soon for changes?

What are you taking biotin pills for?

Vitamins are to help your health, not your looks. Unless you have a biotin deficiency, it won't help much. If you want something to help with hair growth, make sure you're getting enough vitamin A and omega 3 fatty acids, using a clarifying shampoo or rinse, as well as a deep conditioner/hair mask once or twice a month. Get trims once you start seeing split ends; it will split further up the hair shaft the longer you leave it, making your hair look dry, frizzy, and damaged, and once you do get it cut, you will lose so much more length. Stay away from heat styling as much as possible, and make sure to gently detangle your hair. Other than that, hair growth depends mostly on genetics, and it will probably grow at the same speed whether you're taking biotin or not.

I've heard that it has caused some people to break out upon use!

From my experience, I had to take Iron ( Well not had to but it was recommended by a trainer ) and it made my nails insanely long, even after doing thousands of push ups and lots of slave work lol.
