Eyeliner is the worst for me!! I can never do it right! pixkinf the roght shade of foundation is always a struggle too as I always buy it too light grrr and contouring is hard too! I think I look to hollowed out and dead if I do any haha x

I'm awful at contouring I look like I'm really tanned and pink it looks awful and I'm pretty bad at putting on foundation I know that sounds weird but I always end up doing it uneven and finally curling my hair I find this really hard to do

This is such a creative, fun and interesting forum to learn what we all fail in beauty!

Here are a couple of my own fails!

- Unable to paint my nails, my painting skills are so tragic!
- Like the beautiful Karina said, I'm completely hopeless at fish tail braids. if my life depended on it I would be dead within seconds haha!
- I agree with you Olivia, I can't apply lip liner, I look like a clown haha! (we can be clown buddies!)

The bad:
- Blush. I never worn it in my life until Christmas Day. I have no idea the colors I can wear or how to apply it correctly. I recently bought a Maybelline cream blush that's not even a blush at all on me lol looked like an ashy disco ball. So I use it as a highlight. Just bought another blush, hopefully this one won't be so tragic. 😂

-Cut crease eyeshadow: It's never Diggy beautiful 😥

The good:
I can do
mostly anything with hair. My mom is a hairstylist so I grew up experimenting. I can do color, cut, extensions, styling.

- Nails. Self taught nail tech lol I never painted my nails up until the beginning of the year. Now I think I'm pretty skilled. I know how to do nail art, acrylics and false nails.

-Makeup: winged liner. I've been wearing it every single day since I started wearing makeup about 5 years ago. Could probably do it in my sleep lol

The bad: -I can't apply it correctly or it doesn't suit me well I've got no idea but it just doesn't work for me
-contouring & foundation: it never looks good on me either it is too dark or roo light there's always smth wrong
the good: -my eyeliner is almost always perfect whether it is winged whether not I'm good at it
-my nails: I'm blessed with long nails and they always look perfect and I can create very creative nails
-my eyebrows: they have a good shape naturaly but thet look way better when I fill them in; I always get compliments on it

The bad-
-Applying full foundation never turns out well for me! I have really dry combo skin so my dry patches are terribly noticeable! It might just be the formula but still!

For me to apply! ( awkward cut off sorry!)
- finding my own drugstore makeup color.
The good!
- winged eyeliner!! I have been practicing for a year straight and that practice is paying off!!
- Learning how to be creative with eyeshadow!! I'm still working on this but right now it's a light shadow medium crease thing! Unless it's one of those palettes where it tells you where to put the eyeshadow like the WnW ones!

I'm bad at anything hair related unless it's very simple (straightening hair, simple braids, a bun). I've learned to embrace my curls, so I usually just let it air dry and let it be. I also struggle with winged eyeliner- I end up taking a while unless I've done a cut crease, which makes the process much easier. That being said, I think I'm fairly good at doing both dramatic and natural makeup applications. I definitely have a long ways to go, but for being 17 I think I'm doing a decent job. I just got some makeup books, so I'm hoping to learn different techniques and tips! :)

I'm new with makeup, so I'm TERRIBLE at applying eyeliner and it's a 50/50 chance that I'll get it wrong.

I'm good at shaping my eyebrows and mascara. for mascara my trick is going from the roots of my eyelashes and then flicking upwards. please use this technique if you need help with mascara because my step sister has blond eyelashes and she only applies on the tips, so it looks terrible on her.
