I want to try out the Benefit POREfessional but wanted to know if it was worth getting.

I agree, get a sample first. Also get a sample of the hourglass veil mineral primer. It's the only primer I am actually going to buy, I usually didn't care for them but that one changed my whole view on them. It's pricey but its fantasic (they also sell a smaller size though)
