How do you get stains off your skin when you get dye on it?
Dec 19, 2013
Kelly V.
Rubbing alcohol. or hair spray. cigarette ashes work too...but that's smelly. the stains will wear off in a few days if you can't get them off.

Ashes work the best, cigarette Ashes especially, but you can also burn a piece of paper in something fireproof and use the Ashes from that.

Rubbing alcohol is what I use & a besides coating my ears, neck & forehead in Vaseline I started using a brush used to apply hair dye around my hairline to keep the dye from getting on my scalp where its noticeable. Like I tease my bangs & wear them Rosey Riveter (sp) style so you can see my scalp in my bangs. Putting some dye in a bowl & using the brush on my bangs has really make a huge difference!! But any that does get on my skin, I use Rubbing alcohol...hope this helps! Oh & btw..I use the really bright vibrant dyes by Splat & if the alcohol gets THAT off I'm sure it will work in any hair dye ;-)

Olive oil is great for removing anything off your skin. try rubbing alcohol forst followed by a cottonball soaked in olive oil and just rub it on for a bit then wipe off
