At the moment I'm trying not to wash my hair too often as it is better for your hair but my hair just gets so knotty! I can't brush it in between times because it would become a huge poof! Any tips or ideas to keep my hair knot free?

Yeah I hv the same problem too. If I don't wash it for a while it's not nearly as bad but I brush my hair before I go in the shower, wash it, then brush it again w a wet brush when it's still damp and then I leave the conditioner In. after this I wash on the conditioner but running the brush and water thru my hair and when I'm done I put coconut oil on the ends. I promise this will work. hope I helped. :)

Thats what I've been doing! Whenever I keep my hair natural, I just let the knots stay there because they just give my curls more definition, then I do a deep repair mask after I wash it. If I straighten it, I brush the knots out then use argan oil and a keratin spray to soothe my hair back down. Using dry shampoo only works for a day with me, so I end up getting a powder foundation for oily skin (my hair is brown, so I get a dark powder) and use it in the back crown of my hair to absorb some oils and make it look better. I was skeptical about it til I tried it a few times. I just apply it with a sponge, not a brush.
