I don't know why it's oily, but you could try dry shampoo, which typically works very well at getting your hair not so oily.

You may go to a derm if you are thinking that it could be a disease. But it could just be your hair/ scalp type.
My advice is to wash it everyday with a very gentle shampoo. There is no reason not to wash if it,s required. But not with harsh products because they stimulate the sweat glands:-)

I would try using a shampoo with lavender, peppermint, and/or juniper berry extracts. these ingredients help to balance out the skins oil production. using a sea salt shampoo will help add volume but only use it a couple times a week because it will dry your hair out. lush has amazing hair care :)

Loreal ever strong made my hair extremely oily, I had to switch brands and went with organix and there's took the oily-ness away. I was say try adding a couple tea tree oil drops to your shampoo to dry it out a little or just to the scalp, or try a dry shampoo I personally don't like dry shampoo on my own hair.

There are some dry shampoos that work and I have the same problem..but I try to avoid using many hair products in one day. using many hair products also makes the scalp oily..or itchy. Try a sulfate free shampoo like organix and dry shampoo in between non wash days.
