Any polish that is a good quality. Essie, Opi, China glaze just use a base and top coat. Also start with clean nails, extra oils and dirt makes it easier for polish to chip.

Sally Hansens new triple shine polish, and any of Zoya's Polishes! I have reviewed both of these on my blog and you can find a link under my name :)

Shellac :p it lasts 2-3weeks without chipping or cracking.
but like Laura said, any good quality polish can last quite a while if paired with a base coat (to prevent staining the nails) & a top coat (to prevent the chipping & cracking).

I've had terrible experiences with gel/shellac nails, no matter where I've gotten them they've chipped and then peeled off completely.

Its all about the preparation of the nail and base and top coat. Make sure there are no excess oil by swiping polish remover over the nail! But careful as polish remover is super drying. I've heard great things about Orly Bonder base coat and I've tried and love Seche Vite. Right now I'm testing out OPI Nail Envy(: hope I could help.
