Does bleaching hair damages it?

I can't get rid of red highlights in my hair even tho they're dark brown now I'm thinking of bleaching my hair , but I'm scared it'll damage. Any tips?

it definitely damages your hair. you need to do lots & lots of moisturizing afterwards. I'd go to a salon to get it bleached.

Yes , go to a professtional or if you do decide to do it your self be prepared for the damage get a hair mask treatment like aussie, shea moisture , loreal, pantene,or make your own with coconut, olive and or castor oil treatment

It does damage your hair. If you do get it bleached (by yourself or not) get a purple shampoo. You can find them in Sally beauty supply.

Yes it does damage your hair but I do bleach my hair by myself n if you decide to do it that way just make sure to deep condition atleast once a week intell your hair starts to look and feel heathy again and to make sure you don't end up with oranging use a good toner

Yesss! I bleached the sides of my hair blonde a while ago and I dyed them brown but now they just look really burnt and nasty. Don't bleach it yourself make sure to go to a beauty salon!
