What does primer do.

It increases the longevity of whatever products you put on top of it. Like paint primer for walls, it gives the other products something to stick to. It also is supposed to reduce the appearance of pores and unevenness on your skin.

No, primers are normally colorless (unless you use a green one to correct redness or something), the drama needs to be accomplished by using other makeup on top :)

Basically you use primer as a base on your skin. for foundations it makes it easier to blend, and helps it stay on longer and with eyeshadow primers it should make the colors youre using more vibrant, last longer, and prevent creasing and what not
