I'm just wondering if there is any tips on creating the perfect flick of eyeliner, can never seem to manage it. Thanks :)

Line your top lid, and then follow your bottom lid up to create the wing. Then connect the top line to the wing and fill in any gaps! Works every time :)

If you draw a dot where you want it to end (keep eyes open so you know where it will fall) you can match it on both aides and just connect I the end of your regular line :)

The end of the wing should line up with the end of your eyebrow if you had an imaginary line. Try using scotch tape and a guide while you're learning it :)

Welcome :) hope it works! When I learned the wing I just did it all day for like an entire weekend. Also, I always do my "hard eye" (basically my left eye since I'm right handed, it's the one I can never get quite perfect) before my "easy eye" since I can always match my easy eye to my hard eye; if that makes sense lol

I do this everyday! use nyc's brand liquid liner. its hard to get used to at first but if you work with it you'll get it. plus it lasts forever. I don't connect the underneath with the top though. my eyes tend to water and it runs. but just putting it on the top lid and the bottom, it will last all day.

This is my go to look on a daily basis. It's definitely something you have to practice and get used to doing. My favourite eyeliner to use is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. It comes in a pen form which I find the easiest type of liquid eyeliner to use. Revlon also makes a decent drugstore version. I like to start in the middle of the eyelid thickening the liner slightly as I bring it out to the corner of my eye. Then bring the liner diagonally upwards making the tip of the wing even with the end of my brow. Then I connect the tip of the wing to the liner on my lid and fill the little triangle in (I hope this is making sense!). Then I continue the remainder of the lid keeping a nice thin line from the inner corner to the middle. It can also be helpful if you're able to rest your elbow on something (vanity, counter), this will help keep your hand steady. This photo (found on Google) uses gel liner, but the concept is the same!
