I have extremely oily lids, and I've tried a handful of primers. My eye shadow seems to crease after only minutes...please help!!

Glitter Glue might work. It's by Too Faced. Sephora or Ulta will give you a sample if you ask.

(It's slightly tacky to keep shimmers put and may adhere to the lid better)

I have oily eye lids and I have used too faced eyeshadow insurance and I love love ELF essential eyelid primer. The other is higher end and expensive. The latter is cheaper and affordable and I have been using it for 1 year now with no issues.

Britney..I've been using Mac's paint pot for a few months now...and it worked for me originally, then all of a sudden my eye shadow was creasing like crazy.

The NARS eyeshadow primer is the go to in my kit for colorless primer, it lasts all day in set! If you like bases with color, which are awesome for smokey eyes or quick looks, I stick with MUFE Aqua Creams. They don't go anywhere until you remove them.

Do you let it dry fully before you apply shadow??

I'm also looking a eye primer. I have the same issue as you. I ordered Lime Crime eye Primer. It's supposed to be for oily eyelids. I heard Eye Paints from Mac are good. Gonna try that as well.

I've read that Urban Decay primer potion is the best for oily lids, it can make blending eyeshadow quite difficult though. I love Benefits 'stay don't stray' primer, perfect match to my skin tone, makes me look awake and fresh and covers up any redness/veins on your eyelids.

I also want to add I've tried a handful of eye primers but I'm still obsessed with LA Splash :-)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to be trying some out definitely. And Lisa, I may be applying my eye shadow too soon after my paint pot..I'll let it dry completely. Thanks again everyone!
