Hi! I toured Empire in Atlanta. The facility was very nice, the counselor was nice, and they have a lot of clientele. I chose not to go there, however, because I found a cheaper, "non-name brand" school.
I know you want to make the best decision; I have been in your shoes, so let me tell you two things:
1. Although certain schools provide more resources than others, ultimately your success will depend on your personal efforts, not the school you graduate from.
2. What matters more than the school is your instructor. Currently, the school I attend could use a lot of improvemnet, but I have an excellent instructor. On the other hand, I have heard of those "name brand schools" that have not-so-great instructors.
The best thing you can do is sit in a class for a day at each school that interests you to observe the atmosphere for yourself.
Good luck, Jackie!

I currently attend Empire Beauty School, and I am in love with it. It's a lot of work, but it's so worth it in the end. You learn way more than what you actually pay for, and that you're giving your all. Because there have been plenty of times where I just felt like giving up, but they wouldn't let me. So its definitely a great choice!
