Which brand of eyeshadow is best to you and why? Also do you use a base or primer with it or both? I love Sugarpill when I want bold daring eyes and UD when I want to be a little softer. I use base and primer

I love Sugarpill ALL THE TIME! I pretty much wear bright colors daily, so I always find myself sneaking in one of their shadows somewhere in my look xD I used UDPP religiously. I don't find I need a base with most sugarpill shadows, but for a few of the lighter ones NYX milk is amazing!

Its a tough one because all the shadow brands I have are great. I would have to say there is a tie between Laura Mercier baked wet/dry shadows and Bobbi Brown shadows. With LM baked shadows I apply it wet thus cancelling out the need for primer because my lids stay rich and vibrant looking till I'm ready to remove it. With BB I also don't need to use a primer per say and instead I use MAC pot paints as my base. I only use primer when I'm doing a super intense look that involves more than 3 shades.

I love, love applying shadows wet also. I'm going to skip the primer next time to see how it does on me too nice idea!

It's a little pricey but physician's formula shadows are good for wet or dry application
