I've been using Revlon Color Stay Foundation and Revlon Photoready stick concealer for a while now (both in the lightest color available which is still a tad too dark, especially in the winter!) I am trying to find something with equivalent or better coverage for acne prone/combination skin. If anyone could recommend a brand or specific product that isn't too outrageously expensive I would really appreciate it :)

Tarte Amazonian clay foundation is great! My sister used to have really bad acne and loves the foundation because of its full coverage and oil absorbing properties. Just go to sephora and ask them to match you and give you a sample so you can try it first!

I love Bobbi Browns creamy concealer is amazing, its a little pricey though I think I paid 28 for it but I'm not sure, well worth the money though

@Meghan: MAC foundations in general *aren't* very pale-friendly, actually. Keep in mind she told us the lightest shade in Colorstay can be too dark for her. CS Ivory is roughly the same as SFF NW15, as memory serves (maybe a smidge lighter). I think the only ones that would go light enough for her are Studio Fix Powder (which definitely wouldn't provide the coverage she wants) or Full Coverage, and even with the latter, she may need to mix with with FC in White.

@Morgan: You may want to check out the Kat Von D foundation. It has quite a full coverage and goes quite pale (Kat herself is quite fair-skinned), not to mention it sets matte. She also has a concealer in her range that is very full coverage, but given how thick the foundation is, you may not need the concealer. (Or, for that matter, any concealer.) It is $34, but it's also less expensive than some of the other foundations for your skin type out there.

I am pretty fair-skinned myself, and I do have combination skin also. It's difficult finding something that doesn't further dry out the dry spots but that also isn't so oily it makes those trouble spots break out. Last year I tried the L'Oreal Paris Magic Smooth Soufflé and I've been using it ever since! It matches my complexion perfectly and is nice and light. It even makes my skin feel super soft. And even with a slight price bump from when it came out last year it's still only around $16 at CVS/rite aid for a 0.67 oz jar :)

Mac came out with a new foundation called Matchmaster. It's 10 hour wear, it makes ur skin look photoshopped and it has a shade called 1.0. It's pretty much white, a couple of my girlfriends have really pale skin and they LOVE IT!

Does it break you out?

Have you tried Loreal True match? Or the Neutrogena liquid foundation. They would probably have a color light enough for you (:

I have similar skin type. I just switched to Bare Minerals Ready SPF 20 foundation.....AMAZING!! So much better than my Revlon Colorstay. For concealers, I really like the Kat Von D tattoo concealer (@sephora) it's a little pricey though so a food drugstore dupe is the Physicians Formula Conceal RX (approx $6 @ Ulta)
Good luck!!
