Try black soap found at stores like sally. There is one in Walmart too called complexion soap. I have used it for over 2 years now and happy that it exfoliates and works for me.

Yeah proactive made my skin better for awhile, but then it got worse. I recommend cetaphil or tea tree oil. I also break out with foundations, but I don't seem to break out with mineral foundations so I suggest bare minerals or tarte :)

Also make sure to change your pillow cases regularly and keep your hair up while you sleep. Make sure to drink lots of water!

You should try and get a facial so they can clear out your contested pores, then start with a skincare routine using a salicylic cleanser ,I recommend that because people who are prone to blackheads need somthing to keep their pore walls clean, then try a retinol product a few times a week at night and a stabilized vitamin c serum in the morning ,you can also exfoliate twice a week with a gentle manual scrub or a glycolic product don't try starting every thing at once thou start with the cleanser and one serum and a good moisturizer ,and if your going to use retinol start off using it 3 times a week at night a small pea size amout if you have no issues with it after a month move your days up.

Tracy hit the nail on the head:) I agree!! I also change my pillow cases and keep my hair away from my face. And try not to squeeze the red and inflamed ones! That will just burst the follicle wall and create more:/ acne can be tough to deal with and can really do a number on your self esteem:(

Right in Tracy. Follow her advice and you'll be ok. I was once in your shoes and it was the worst feeling in the world so I completely understand where you're coming from. My saving grace along with using the skincare products...switching up my diet. Once I cut out dairy (cows milk and foods made with it) ,plus making veggies a major food staple and limiting my sugar intake my skin cleared up big time.Just giving you another avenue to look into.
