So I went to the dermatologist and she gave me some medicine(can't remember what its called) to put on along with the Tazorac. I have been using Tazorac for a while now so I know for a fact that didn't cause the dryness. But on the other medication she gave me to use it said it would dry out your skin so use a moisturizer along with it. Well I did and it got worse, and continued to get worse. I even moisturized morning and night. But I stopped using it and now I'm just using the Tazorac. But my face is still dry from that one medication and I stopped using that like 2 months ago. but the dryness isn't going away!

I feel your pain! We are looking for the same things!! Right now I use L'Oreal SPF 15? 24 hr Moisturizer in the sensitive skin formula and it keeps my skin hydrated for a good six hours but then I have to reapply.

Cetaphil or neosporane has a type of moisterizer that works wonders.

I had really dry skin as well!! I first used sorbolene it worked a bit but it was slow so I changed to St Ives. It's the best and use the one made for dry skin that is oatmeal and Shea butter. I use it every morning and it works like a charm. St Ives is expensive though. Hopefully you find something that will work!! :)

CeraVe moisturizing cream, go read the reviews on it, people with eczema and atopic dermatitis say it works wonders for them. One of the best moisturizers on the market in my opinion. Dermatologist usually recommend it.

Sometimes cream lotion doesn't work! It can be hard for some skin to absorb, so you'd need to use a gel lotion instead. I use Garnier Moisture Rescue (the pink one is for dry skin) and I swear by it. I've used it for years, it's the best.
