I bought a backless dress from a fashion show and I'm in love, only problem its a tiny bit too big 😣 the material is silk inside and then it has a lace overlay but when I put it on the back is too wide does anyone know any tips to make it smaller?

I would bring it to a taylor have it fitted properly. with layers of fabric esp the lace could make it difficult to fix itself

Yeah, take it to a tailor, like the other girls have said. it's a gorgeous dress & you don't want to ruin it :3
they will be able to fit you perfectly! better to be too big than too small, lolol.

Its not really that much. my dress needed to be shorter and they charged me ten.(:

I think I see what your talking about. pull up on the shoulders see if that makes the back flatten out.

A dry cleaner can usually alter as well. cheaper then a taylor.

Silk and lace...two very delicate materials not to tweaked with by a non-pro. Take it to a reputable tailor, one that deals with wedding dresses ideal since they deal with such materials on a daily basis.

I tweak with stuff but not anything that fab!. hold on to it until you can take it to a seamstress. may only cost you a small amount to fix.. you really just need cinched up.

You could try some fashion tape to hold it where you want it to sit. short term fix but might work?
