I love the BH 120 pallets and the 28 Color Smokey Eye pallet. The 88 color pallets are ok- the eyeshadows are smaller and seem to be not as good quality as the others. But for the price you get so many colors!!

Most of them are the same as each other (given they're wholesale palettes that can be found on eBay), so my view is exactly the same for both: massive pass. I'd rather buy single colours that I love and create my own palette.

I prefer Coastal Scents, not because it's better quality but because I feel like their site is easier to navigate. I like that all of the colors in their 252 palette are sold as individual colors as well so it's super easy to pick out the colors you like the best and make your own palette.

I have the coastal scents palette and bhcosmetics and I feel like the bhcosmetics eye shadows are a lot more pigmented than the coastal scent ones

Coastal scents has great pigment in their eyeshadow and amazing concealer. It's cheap also. But their lip products are not that great.

I have not used my coastal scents pallet in years! I think it's fun for a beginner but once you build a collection, those just fall to the back! But then again they are great to have for that odd color that you might need to use once!

They are both good!! Different sales and steals are worth the buy too! Just make sure you grab the eye primer for a longer stay! ;)

I love them. I use the Coastal Scents Warm Palette for my work looks. (My work look really emphasizes my eyes.) Lots of colors in one place. I don't have time to fish for individual eye shadows when I get ready. Sometimes I just use random color combinations because they're all in the warm color wheel (even the white/light shades). I say if you're still practicing your eye looks experiment with cheap palettes like CS or BHC before you take the plunge to name brand palettes.
Some things to consider before you get a gigantic CS or BHC Palette:
1. You're going to need a good eyeshadow primer if you want more color intensity. The primer also helps with creasing and fading.
2. Remember it's a large palette (average 7"x10") and will take up a lot of vanity real estate.
3. Many of the colors are sheer and need about two passes for nice color payoff on your eyes.
