I would buy tea tree oil from trader joes or a health food store, I'm sure it's cheaper. But yes it is supposed to help with cleaning pimples.

I'm a fan of the body shop. but not the biggest fan of the tea tree line. I've tested it but haven't bought. If you want to stick with body shop to clear up breakouts is suggest the seaweed line. tea tree can dry you out. and the friends/clients that I've referred to body shop to grab seaweed line That let the sales girl talk them into tea tree instead had all bad reviews. the seaweed line does a great job of balancing oil vs tea tree drying it up. you need healthy moisture.
the only tea tree product I will use isms from trader Joes!. their tea tree face wash does a great job of getting rid of oil without drying your skin out..

Personally it depends from one skin type to another. mine didnt take to this body shop line very well. But then again my skin is insanely sensitive and prefers to take its own sweet time to heal recover or hibernate lol.

I like the tea tree oil but the container is so small :/ I went through it way too fast. I haven't tried anything else from the line except the gel lotion and the blotting papers but I didn't like either of them sadly.

I was breaking out bad! Like cystic acne and needed something that would help clear it. This did it! As with any product, consistency is key! I used this morning and night with cleanser, toner and moisturizer and my skin stopped breaking out. Now I use it as maintenance twice a week to keep breakouts away.
