What can I do to make the top wider?? Also I'm so bored with my hair color but I have no idea what to do!!

It looks like you have an ombre, and your hair is a light brown with a strong gold tone. My first suggestion:

Highlights.
Either cool blonde to compliment the gold tones, or strips of sunshine gold to make your hair glow even more than your ombre.

As far as making the top wider, I would try the easiest idea of just pulling at the base strategically. otherwise I would suggest not braiding so tightly (though I can't not braid tightly it's odd for me.)

Gaddy thank you!! My hair is ombré but the gold color in the middle kills me!! The very top is my natural. I think I will go for highlights. Thanks for the braid advice too that makes sense! I'll try! :)
