What is bb cream used for?

I know what most things are used for, but what is bb cream used for?

It's kinda like a lighter version of a foundation and its a lot more moisturising - I've just bought my first one today lol.

A light coverage and it has some skin benefits. Bb cream is a beauty balm, it helps even out skin, moisturize, and depending if the bb cream it does other things.

But make sure you get one that doesn't make your face have a white cast over it , this happens because of the sunscreen that's in it

Western bb creams don't have nearly as much skin benefits as asian bb creams. Its so lacking in making benefits that you can even make one yourself with a darker foundation, moisturizer, primer, and sunscreen mixed. The amount of everything except for the foundation should be the same amount as the foundation when mixed. They differ in the amount of coverage. For example, maybelline dream fresh bb cream is a very sheer coverage and provides a little more moisture. Rimmel bb cream is very thick and has the coverage a little less than a normal foundation but a little more than a normal bb cream.
