To get rid of the blue in my hair I bought hair dye moose...I think it might of been loreal...it just covered everything and didnt leave my hair dry or damaged

I'm in the same boat right now, trying to fade my hair too haha. I'm doing vitamin c treatments and it's helped so much, I've done it twice and my hair lifted from bright blue to a light green color. Also dish soap works well, if you damp your hair and put a bunch on, scrub and leave it till it dries, repeat a few times after a few hours rinse and it should lift a lot of the color :)

Sunlight works the best for dishsoap.

I had the same problem trying to go from pastel blue back to my original platinum colored hair. I mixed dandruff shampoo (head and shoulders, generic brand) to equal parts baking soda and washed my hair with that mixture. It didn't take it out in one shampoo, but it did significantly lighten the blue. It took about half the bottle of shampoo before it was almost completely gone-but I'd take that over bleach any day! I would wash my hair about two-three times with this mixture each time I was in the shower and then leave a deep conditioning mask in my hair and repeat a few hours later... I was blue-free within the next day or two by doing this.
I have also been impatient and did not want to wait a few days to wash my hair with a half of a bottle of shampoo mixed with baking soda, so I significantly lightened the color the way I just wrote about, then I just put my regular toner over my hair. My toner lifted and covered my remaining light blue bits that wouldn't budge and gave me back an even, blonde tone!

so in a nutt shell:
-wash with 1 part dandruff shampoo to 1 equal part baking soda to fade color
-deep condition between washing since this is quite drying to the hair
-go over your hair with a toner and it should even out any blue splotches that are left behind

Mia, what color are you trying to get to from blue? If you wanted your base color back or a blonde, you can follow my instructions. If you wanted to go to another (darker) color, I would just fade the color with the shampoo baking soda mixture, then dye over it instead of toning it.
