Prevent damage by using heat protectant. You'd be amazed how much it protects. Mosterize you hair. Condition your hair daily and deep condition it once a week. If you don't have deep conditioner. Use eggs. They are protein and help give your hair a healthy glow. Look up home hair masks. They are amazing. I use them.

The Max should be artlessly four days. Try to skip as much as possible learn to braid and do the cute messy bun look. They are great for those lazy days.

How is your hair color love?? If its not puffy Afro curls then you can definitely straighten without heat 😍 If you Really wanna use heat for whatever reason I suggest one of those bonnet hair dryers. They work great and no damage. 😊

I only do it Mondays, and try to not wash my hair for as long as possible. Then you get he most out of it, because straightening it too close to a weekend is kind if a waste

Get what protectant spray and leave in conditioner, they can be from any brand but I recommend tresseme or not your mothers for heat protectant and redeem for leave in conditioner, you should put in the heat protectant before blow drying or straightening your hair (especially to the tips) and then you won't have to worry so much about damaging it also the leave in conditioner you can do every other day or once a week, I put it in at night because I take showers in the morning but you definitely wanna wash out your hair from the condish before going anywhere or it'll look greasy

You should drop heat all together, but that's just my opinion. And @Kitty K, I'm not sure the term "puffy Afro curls " is the right way to say it. Afros aren't puffy. They are voluminous. Sorry I just forums that kind of offensive because I have a tamed Afro , and puffy makes it sound like poodle hair...
